Placement Tests help you understand where your emails land—inbox, spam, or elsewhere—across major providers. Running these tests in Zapmail lets you monitor your domain’s deliverability health, so you can optimize campaigns and improve sender reputation.
Accessing Deliverability Tools
Step 1: Click the Deliverability icon in the left sidebar to open all deliverability-related tools and settings.
Opening the Placement Test Tab
Step 2: Select the Placement Test tab within Deliverability. Here you’ll see all previously created tests and their results.
Starting a New Placement Test
Step 3: In the top right, click Create New Placement Test to begin setting up a new test.
Configuring Test Details and Payment
Step 4: Fill in your test details:
Test Name: Use a clear, descriptive name to identify your test later.
Test Type: Choose Monthly (runs every month) or One-Time (runs once).
Select Mailbox: Pick the mailbox you want to test.
Once finished, click Create Test to move ahead.
Step 5: Choose your preferred payment method and select the option that fits your needs. Click Continue to proceed.
Reviewing the Placement Test Dashboard
Step 6: After processing, you’ll return to the Placement Test Dashboard. Here, you can:
View your latest test results
Monitor inbox placement across providers
Re-run tests as necessary
