Zapmail makes it easy to securely access SMTP credentials, IMAP details, and App Passwords for your mailboxes. With 2FA enabled by default, you can export these details in just a few clicks.
This guide explains how to download mailbox credentials using the updated export options.
Step 1: Open the Mailboxes Section
Log in to your Zapmail dashboard
Navigate to Mailboxes
Select one or more mailboxes you want to export credentials for
Step 2: Export Mailboxes
Click Export Mailboxes
Choose Export CSV File
Step 3: Choose Export Format
You’ll now see two export options:
Option 1: Download a Single .XLS File
This file includes multiple sheets:
Mailbox Credentials
App Passwords
SMTP / IMAP Details
Best if you want everything in one place.
Option 2: Download Separate CSV Files
One CSV for Mailbox Credentials
One CSV for App Passwords
One CSV for SMTP / IMAP Details
Best if you want to share or use specific credentials separately.
Step 4: Download the File
The selected file(s) will be downloaded directly to your browser
Save the file and store it securely, as it contains sensitive credentials
Important Notes
Exported files contain sensitive credentials. Store them securely and do not share them publicly.
2FA remains enabled even when using App Passwords.
SMTP/IMAP credentials are typically used for email clients and custom integrations.
⚠️ Microsoft Mailbox Limitation
For Microsoft 365 mailboxes, Zapmail does not provide:
SMTP / IMAP credentials
App Password sheets
Direct mailbox login credentials
Only supported details (such as mailbox information required for exports/integrations) will be included.
