You can upgrade your Zapmail base plan (Stater,Growth,Pro) anytime using one of two flexible options: Instant Upgrade or Schedule Upgrade. This gives you full control over when your new plan activates and when you’re charged.
🔄 Upgrade Options
⚡ Instant Upgrade (Upgrade Now)
Upgrade your plan immediately and unlock higher limits or new features right away.
How it works:
You’re charged a prorated amount (the price difference between your current plan and the new plan).
The new plan becomes active instantly.
Your limits and features update right away.
The billing date of the plan remains same.
Best for: When you need to scale quickly or unlock features without waiting.
📅 Schedule Upgrade (Upgrade Later)
Plan your upgrade in advance without paying immediately.
How it works:
Your current plan stays active until your next billing date.
On the billing date, the new plan activates automatically.
You’re charged the full price of the new plan on that date.
Best for: When you want to plan ahead and upgrade at the start of your next cycle.
🧭 How to Upgrade Your Plan
Step 1: Open Billing
Go to Billing from the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click “Upgrade Plan”
Click on the Upgrade Plan button next to the active subscription you want to upgrade.
Step 4: Choose Your Upgrade Type
Instant Upgrade, or
Schedule Upgrade
⚡ If You Choose Instant Upgrade
A pop-up will show the prorated upgrade amount.
Click Upgrade Now.
Choose your payment method:
Stripe, or
Zapmail Wallet
Click Continue to complete payment.
✅ Your plan is upgraded immediately after successful payment.
📅 If You Choose Schedule Upgrade
A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click Schedule Upgrade.
✅ Your new plan will activate automatically on your next billing date.
You can:
View the scheduled upgrade in the Billing section
Cancel the scheduled upgrade anytime before the billing date
