Zapmail lets you control how and where you receive notifications, so you stay informed about important activity without unnecessary noise. You can manage email notifications, browser push alerts, and Slack notifications—all from one place.
This guide shows you how to configure each option.
Where to Manage Notifications
Log in to your Zapmail dashboard
Click Settings from the left sidebar
Select Notification Preferences
Email Notifications
You can choose which events trigger email alerts.
What You Can Control
Toggle email notifications for:
Mailbox Creation – Get notified when a mailbox is created
Mailbox Export – Alerts when mailboxes are exported to an outreach tool
Domain Activities – Updates for nameserver changes, unused domains, and domain actions
Subscriptions & Billing – Notifications related to plans, renewals, and billing
💡 Tip: All changes are saved automatically. Disable anything you don’t want to receive.
Browser Push Notifications
Browser notifications allow Zapmail to alert you in real time—even when the app isn’t open.
How to Enable
Find Browser Push Notifications
Toggle the switch ON
When your browser prompts, click Allow
You can disable push notifications anytime from:
Zapmail Notification Preferences, or
Your browser’s notification settings
Slack Notifications
Slack notifications are useful for teams that want alerts directly in a shared channel.
How to Set Up Slack Alerts
Scroll to Slack Notifications
Click Add Webhook
Paste your Slack Incoming Webhook URL
Save the configuration
📌 Slack notifications are configured workspace-wise, so different workspaces can send alerts to different Slack channels.
View Notifications in the Dashboard
Zapmail also keeps a record of alerts inside the app.
Open the Notifications panel from the dashboard
View notifications across all workspaces
Review important alerts (mailbox issues, domain problems, exports)
Mark notifications as read once reviewed
