Zapmail offers flexible subscription plans designed to scale with your outreach needs. Whether you’re just starting out or managing outreach at scale, this guide explains how Zapmail plans work, how billing is handled, and how you can upgrade, cancel, or manage your subscriptions.
📦 What Types of Subscriptions Does Zapmail Offer?
From the Billing section in your Zapmail dashboard, you can manage subscriptions for:
Standard Mailbox Plans (base workspace plans)
Pre-warmed Mailboxes
Zap Shield (domain protection add-on)
Placement Tests (deliverability testing subscriptions)
Each of these subscriptions is managed independently, meaning you can upgrade, cancel, or maintain them separately.
📈 Is There a Limit on the Number of Mailboxes?
There is no maximum limit.
You can scale by:
Buying additional mailbox slots
Upgrading your base plan
Stacking multiple plans if needed
Your total capacity depends on the plans and add-ons you purchase — not on a hard system cap.
🔄 How Billing Works
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly cycle (depending on what you choose)
Each new subscription gets its own billing date
Payments are processed via Stripe or Zapmail Wallet
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 costs are included through Zapmail
Zapmail sits on top of Google and Microsoft services, so pricing follows their billing structures.
🚀 How Plan Upgrades Work
Zapmail gives you two upgrade options:
1️⃣ Instant Upgrade
Best when you need higher limits immediately.
Charged right away
Only the price difference is billed (prorated)
New plan becomes active instantly
New limits unlock immediately
2️⃣ Scheduled Upgrade
Best when you want to plan ahead.
No charge now
New plan activates on your next billing date
Full plan price charged at renewal
You can cancel the scheduled upgrade anytime before it applies
🧾 What Happens When I Cancel a Subscription?
When you cancel a subscription:
It stays active until the end of the current billing cycle
You are not charged again
No services are interrupted
Payments already made are not refundable
Mailboxes under subscription gets scheduled for deletion
📌 Special case:
Zap Shield and Placement Test subscriptions stop immediately when canceled and are non-refundable.
🔁 Can I Revert a Cancellation?
Yes.
Before your billing date, you can:
Go to Billing
Find the canceled subscription
Click Revert Cancellation
Your subscription continues without interruption.
🗑️ Can I Delete a Canceled Subscription?
Yes.
Once a subscription is canceled, you can remove it from your dashboard.
⚠️ Deleting a canceled subscription is permanent and removes all billing history linked to that plan.
💳 How Do Additional Mailboxes Get Billed?
Additional mailbox slots always follow the billing cycle of the workspace they belong to.
Examples:
If your workspace is monthly → additional mailboxes are monthly
If your workspace is yearly → additional mailboxes are yearly
This keeps billing clean and aligned.
🕒 What Is the 24-Hour Mailbox Rule?
Google and Microsoft restrict mailbox creation windows.
You can assign mailboxes within the first 24 hours after a workspace is created.
After that, you must:
Schedule mailboxes for the next billing cycle, or
Buy a new domain/workspace.
Zapmail enforces this automatically to comply with provider billing and security policies.
💰 What Happens to Mailbox Pricing After 1 Year?
Both Google and Microsoft offer discounted first-year pricing.
After 12 months:
Mailboxes move to standard renewal rates
This change is automatic
No action is required from you
Service is uninterrupted
You’ll simply see the updated price on your invoice.
🔍 Where Can I Manage Everything?

All in one place.
