You can upgrade your base plan at any time on Zapmail, with two flexible options: Instant Upgrade and Schedule Upgrade.
Upgrade Options
Instant Upgrade
Upgrade your plan immediately and unlock new features or higher limits without waiting for the next billing cycle.
How it works:
When you choose Instant Upgrade, you are charged the difference between your current base plan and the new plan at the time of upgrade. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and full access to the new plan is granted right away.What happens next:
Your base plan is updated instantly, and your new limits or features become available immediately.
Note: Ideal for users who need to scale quickly or unlock advanced features on demand.
Schedule Upgrade
Plan your upgrade in advance without being charged immediately.
How it works:
When you choose Schedule Upgrade, the new plan will automatically activate on your next billing date, and you’ll be charged the full price of the new plan at that time.What happens next:
Your current base plan remains active until the billing date, after which the new plan goes live.
Note: Best for users who want to plan their upgrade ahead without incurring immediate costs.
How to Upgrade
Step 1: Navigate to the Billing section from the left sidebar.
Step 2: Click on the 'See More' button on the Active Subscription you want to Upgrade.
Step 3: Click on Upgrade Plan.
Step 4: Choose one of the two options:
Instant Upgrade (charged now), or
Schedule Upgrade (charged on next billing date).
If you choose Instant Upgrade:
A pop-up window will appear showing the prorated upgrade amount based on the price difference between your current and new plan.
Click on Upgrade Now to confirm.
Choose your preferred payment method – either through Stripe or your Zapmail Wallet.
Click Continue to proceed and complete the upgrade.
Your plan will be upgraded instantly once the payment is successful.
If you choose Schedule Upgrade:
A pop-up window will appear with the confirmation.
Click Schedule Upgrade to confirm.
➤ Your new plan will be scheduled to activate on the next billing date.
You can view the scheduled upgrade status under the Billing section, including the date when the upgrade will take effect.
You also have the option to cancel the scheduled upgrade anytime before the billing date.
