At Zapmail, we believe in transparent pricing so you can plan ahead with confidence. Google Workspace mailboxes come with introductory pricing for the first 12 months. Once your mailboxes complete their first year, you have two options for managing your subscription.
You can either continue with your existing mailboxes at the updated renewal rates or delete and recreate your mailboxes to start a new 12-month introductory pricing period.
Here's everything you need to know about the pricing changes and the options available to you.
Why Does Mailbox Pricing Change After 1 Year?
Google Workspace offers discounted introductory pricing for the first 12 months. After this period, the pricing per mailbox increases to the applicable renewal rate.
Since Zapmail provides Google Workspace mailboxes, this pricing change is reflected in your mailbox subscription after the first year.
When your mailboxes reach the 12-month mark, you can choose between continuing your existing subscription or recreating your mailboxes to start a new introductory pricing period.
What Is the First-Year Pricing?
During the first 12 months, the base subscription price depends on your Zapmail plan and billing cycle. Additional mailbox prices also vary depending on your plan and billing cycle.
Base Plan Pricing
Zapmail Plan | Monthly Billing | Quarterly Billing | Yearly Billing |
Starter | $39/month | $35/month | $32.50/month |
Growth | $99/month | $90/month | $82.50/month |
Pro | $299/month | $270/month | $250/month |
Billing note: Monthly prices for quarterly and yearly plans are shown for comparison. Quarterly plans are billed per quarter, while yearly plans are billed per year.

These prices apply during the first 12 months, according to the selected plan and billing cycle.
What Are Your Options After 1 Year?
Once your mailboxes complete 12 months of activation, you can choose one of the following options.
Option A: Continue Your Existing Subscription
You can keep your current mailboxes active without deleting or recreating them. However, the base subscription price and additional mailbox rates will increase to the applicable renewal prices.
Updated Base Plan Pricing After 1 Year
Zapmail Plan | Monthly Billing | Yearly Billing |
Starter | $49/month | $490/year |
Growth | $149/month | $1,490/year |
Pro | $449/month | $4,490/year |
Updated Additional Mailbox Pricing After 1 Year
Zapmail Plan | Renewal Price per Additional Mailbox |
Starter | $5.00/mailbox/month |
Growth | $4.75/mailbox/month |
Pro | $4.50/mailbox/month |
What does this mean for you?
Your existing mailboxes remain active.
You do not need to delete or recreate your mailboxes.
Your base plan subscription renews at the applicable updated rate.
Additional mailbox charges increase to the applicable renewal rate.
Your service continues without interruption.
This option is suitable if you want to retain your existing mailboxes and avoid the process of setting up replacements.
Option B: Delete and Recreate Your Mailboxes
Alternatively, you can delete your existing mailboxes and create new ones to start a new 12-month introductory pricing period.
Once the new mailboxes are created, the applicable first-year pricing will apply again.
New First-Year Additional Mailbox Pricing
Zapmail Plan | Price per Additional Mailbox |
Starter | $3.50/month |
Growth | $3.25/month |
Pro | $3.00/month |
The applicable price depends on your selected plan and billing cycle.
What does this mean for you?
Your existing mailboxes must be deleted.
You can create replacement mailboxes to begin a new introductory pricing period.
Applicable first-year mailbox pricing will apply to the newly created mailboxes.
The Previous sending history will be deleted and will need to re-warmup the mailboxes.
Important: Deleting mailboxes may result in the loss of existing emails, contacts, and other mailbox data. Before proceeding, ensure that you have backed up any information you need to retain. Confirm the available deletion and recreation process with our support team before making changes.
When Does the Pricing Change Apply?
If you choose to continue with your existing mailboxes, the updated renewal pricing applies when the mailboxes complete their first 12 months, according to the applicable billing schedule.
Example:
If your mailboxes were activated on August 15, 2026, they will complete 12 months on August 15, 2027. The updated pricing will apply according to the billing cycle associated with that renewal.
If you choose Option B, the introductory pricing period begins again for the newly created mailboxes, subject to the applicable plan and billing terms.
Will My Service Be Interrupted?
Option A: Continue your existing subscription
Your mailboxes remain active, and no mailbox recreation is required. The base subscription and additional mailbox charges will renew at their applicable updated prices.
Option B: Delete and recreate your mailboxes
Your existing mailboxes will be deleted, and new mailboxes will need to be created. This process may interrupt email access and does not automatically transfer existing mailbox data to the new accounts.
Plan your migration carefully before choosing this option.
