ZapSites: What It Is and How It Helps Your Cold Domains

ZapSites is a Zapmail feature that automatically builds a live, hosted landing page for each of your cold outreach domains — so instead of sitting empty or redirecting elsewhere, every domain actually has something on it.

Why This Matters

When you send cold email from a new domain, spam filters look at more than just how you configured your sending setup. Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and IP reputation matter, but filters also evaluate the domain itself — specifically, what's actually there if someone visits it.

A domain that's brand new, was purchased alongside a batch of similar domains, and simply redirects to your main website is a recognizable pattern. It looks like sending infrastructure rather than a real business, and filtering services that specialize in this kind of detection (like SURBL) score domains on exactly this basis. Having clean authentication records doesn't offset it, because the domain itself is being evaluated separately from your sending server.

Redirecting is also the part that creates the most risk long-term: it creates a direct, permanent link between your cold domain and your primary brand website, which stays discoverable even after a campaign ends.

How ZapSites Helps

Instead of a redirect or a blank page, ZapSites gives each domain real content to host:

  • A generated landing page, live in under a minute, built from your main site so it still reflects your business

  • No redirect, so the domain isn't visibly tied back to your main website

  • Noindexed pages, meaning the site is visible to a visitor but not indexed by search engines

  • Per-domain or batch copy — use the same page across many domains, or generate distinct copy for each one

  • A lead capture form, with email and Slack notifications when someone fills it out

  • Visitor tracking, so you can see who visited even if they didn't convert

Getting the Most Out of It

ZapSites works best as part of a broader approach to how you acquire and set up domains — for example, spreading domain purchases across different days and registrars rather than buying them all at once. The goal is the same one ZapSites addresses directly: making each domain look and function like an independent, legitimate presence rather than part of an obvious batch.

Availability

ZapSites is currently available free of charge during its beta period.
